Netanyahu: Hamas Leaders in Qatar Blocking Ceasefire, Prolonging Gaza War
🇮🇱 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued sharp criticism of Hamas leadership residing in Qatar, accusing them of obstructing efforts to end the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Netanyahu stated that the Hamas chiefs “don’t care about the people in Gaza” and have blocked every ceasefire attempt, dragging the war on indefinitely. According to him, their refusal to compromise has become the main obstacle to releasing Israeli hostages and achieving peace.
The Prime Minister argued that removing Hamas leaders based in Qatar would clear the path toward a ceasefire and potentially bring an end to the conflict.
The remarks come as international mediators continue to push for a breakthrough in negotiations, while both the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the pressure on Israel’s government intensify.
